Bella Blue....

Hi there...

I haven't posted for 3 weeks so sorry to those who pop on occasionally to see what I have been up too (all 4 of you!). I've been quite busy... I was in Melbourne for another week of training and spent my birthday there (a very quiet uneventfull evening). Work has also been really busy and I am now going to have to reduce my holidays but I am now thinking of going to Hong Kong again in Sept 2007 to compensate my loss...

Meet the newest member of my family... Bella... a "Blue Tabby" kitten I got from the local RSPCA just over a week ago.

My first meeting with Bella at the RSPCA, aged 8 weeks old.

At first Charlie wasn't too happy about the new addition but over the last few nights she has started to play with Bella and this afternoon I found her cleaning Bella... cute... (although I think she gets a bit sick and tired of Bella following her everywhere!).

Its funny how much a small ball of fluff can make such a big impact... a few days after having Bella I was wondering if I had made the right decision... I forgot how much work was involved with having a kitten and the need for me to spend time playing with her, plus there was the issue of keeping Bella and Charlie appart started to take its toll (plus being sick didn't help!). All is good now as I get back into the swing of things (although I don't know if I will ever get use to the claws!).

I've got my mum, sister and her family coming over to my place for Christmas Day Lunch (plus some friends of mum)... I have started to clean my place... a bit sad really... a week out from the day I have to start to clean! I'm looking forward to it though

George may have his apparent "War on Terror"... I have a "War on Ants" at the moment! Ants have made a home for themselves in my kitchen! Today I pulled out my gas stove/oven and plugged up the holes in the back of the wall to stop them only to find that they were coming in from two other locations. Tommorow I am going to pull my sink out and then re-seal it to prevent another access point (plus to stop water leaking where it shouldn't).

Well I leave my ramblings here and play with Bella for a bit before I put her to bed in her room (she gets the lounge room as I can lock her in there without other cats hastling her when I'm not home)...

If I don't get a chance to blog again before hand "Merry Christmas" everyone :-)
